Understand your options

Food, supplements and your health

01

Start with your usual meals

Tell us what you typically eat, when you are hungry and what makes changes difficult. We discuss your preferences and schedule alongside your blood sugar, weight and cholesterol, then choose changes you can use at home.
02

Make sense of vitamins and supplements

Bring your supplement list along with your medicines. Your physician reviews what each product is for, whether you need it and whether it could interact with a prescription. You should understand why a product is recommended before adding it.
03

Use measurements to support decisions

We use objective measurements to assess the effect of your diet and supplements. These include blood levels of vitamin B12 and vitamin D and the Prysm iO biophotonic antioxidant measurement, which measures skin carotenoids—pigments linked to foods such as fruits and vegetables. When diet alone is not enough, we can recommend high-quality supplements.
04

Know what an antioxidant score tells you

A Prysm iO score is not a complete nutrition assessment. It cannot diagnose a vitamin deficiency or tell you your cancer risk. The manufacturer describes it as a wellness tool, not a medical device.
