Dr. Michael Barry represents the new generation of primary care: rigorous, evidence-based, and deeply personal. A Florida native with a passion for connection, Dr. Barry joined IMLWP to practice medicine the way it was intended—without the barriers of the traditional insurance model.

Dr. Barry brings a unique “best of both worlds” perspective to the practice. As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), he is trained to look beyond isolated symptoms to treat the interconnected systems of the body. When combined with his top-tier residency training at the University of Florida, this allows him to offer care that is both scientifically advanced and deeply empathetic.

Dr. Barry’s rise in the medical field has been marked by distinction. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida (Gainesville), where faculty ranked him in the top 10% of his class, recommending him “without reserve.”
